Artist's Description

The area is called Bay of Isles for the many rocky islands that are located there. Accessible only by boat, mostly from Whitefish marina, the bay is home to many cottages and tourist inns some dating back to the early part of the 1900's. Just south east of Manitoulin Island is Killarney Provincial Park with its white quarts mountains, Canada's famed Group of Seven artists were instrumental in the creation of this wonderful Ontario natural resource.
