Portonfino is a harbour with typical Italian architecture just south of Genoa, Italy.
A celebrity playground full of Yachts and homes of the rich and famous. It is often featured as the background of in Guchi fashions and high end watches. The main harbour of Portofino has often been painted so I looked for scenes that other artists had not painted much, concentrating on the little corners and nooks of this famous port I came across this scene of the west site of the port of a walkway going to where people live, it later also became a painting of people having lunch at the cafe. The food was great and the ambience made the whole trip worthwile.
