Description
Time was when life was slower, Sunday was a special family day in the victorian era of 1800, people would put on their best outfits, men their suites and bowler hats, ladies their finest hats and summer dresses. Picnic baskets held delicious lunches and all would ride the trolley to the park. Boys and girls, toys in hand, could hardly wait to run and play in the woods or sail their model boats on the nearby pond. As evening came all would again get on the tram for a return trip to the city and dream of the next big day at the park. This was life back then, well we would like to think so anyway. I did this painting for the 100 anniversaty of Mohawk Park, one of our city's finest.

Just love this beautiful painting, Michael, as it was a blast from the past, and was back when life was more simple then, and so were the expectations of joy and happiness, and a lovely day spent together with family and friends. I Love it! Thanks much for sharing this beauty with us! fave and vote
