While walking through the streets of Eze on the Cote Azure in the South of France, I came across this beautiful light blue shuttered white window protecting it seemed, a pot full of Geraniums but allowing the sun to give its nourishing light for the moment. The color balance and values is what caught my eye, compliment of blue on the warm plastered wall was perfect. This part of the world is full of little visual jewels like this, every side street in these hill top villages like Eze along the Blue Coast of France is a virtual potpourri of colour, culture and laid back life style. Most structures are built of stone but here and the some stucco walls mix with these ancient towns.
I took out my travel kit of Magic Makers an proceeded to make some color roughs of this beautiful image which I finished later in my studio.
