My love for these large ocean liners goes back to my childhood when we crossed the Atlantic to settle in North America. It took two weeks and even survived a nasty North Atlantic storm but that didn't deter my love for the water, I've owned various boats since then. The golden age of travel was during the early half of the 20th century in great ocean liners like the Leviathan, ships like White Star's Titanic or the Majestic which traveled the Atlantic between Europe and NY where the state of the art in transportation.
