A moody November English landscape with laneway puddles reflecting this stone house. English Cottages are found in many parts of the country, some date back to the middle ages but these days many are purposely build to look historical.
Their charm and uniquness speaks for itself and are the pride and comfort of their owners. Built with sturdy stone walls and heavy thached straw roofs they are often framed by elaborate colourfull gardens and quaint fencing........................................................
I chose to paint this scene with a typical wet and moody feeling indicative of the many wet days England traditionally seems to get throughout the seasons.
