Warm late afternoon summer sunshine is my favourite place in time. This painting is one of my first oil paintings I ever did, it is a place by the Grand River which runs through our town where we grew up as kids and swam and played until the sun went down. Like most things, the spot has changes but as an artist, I am fortunate to have had the ability to capture the memories of this wonderful place.
