The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Boule Ball is a favorite past time for the locals in the Mediterranean region like Italy and France. Each morning on my way to open up the Gallery I passed this cafe and mused at how early these players began their competition each morning. After closing the gallery I decided to relax at the cafe and took my sketch pad and markers to capture these guys playing this age old game.
