Our gondola ride from Saint Marks through the Grand Canal of Venice, past the Santa Maria della Salute, under the famous Rialto bridge and Acadamia bridge was over, so the gondolier went home for lunch. I took out my markers and did a reference sketch of this famous landcape which I finished later at home.
