Description

Another wonderful French window on a bright orange,ocher wall greeted me as I turned the corner in the old quarter of Nice, France. The sunlight caught the red flowers just right. People of France have created an art form using windows like these. The Cote du Azure has some of the most beautiful sunlight areas in Europe, each time I visit the Riviera I want o move there. Sunlight makes a painting come alive, it brings out the purity of colors and creates contrast that helps to the illusion of depth in any scene. Morning sunlight does this best while afternoon light is warmer as it has to travel trough more and more atmosphere eliminating blue, until the evening allows only the yellow and reds to bathe the landscape.
